PF Dry Curacao is an orange-flavored brandy liqueur, which is the Curacao liqueur I described above, blended with brandy. Grand Marnier is also an orange-flavored brandy. The recipe in the OP is basically a spiced arancello. I'm sure it will be good, but it won't work the same way in drinks as a Curacao liqueur or orange-flavored brandy.
